A native of Iowa, Ray Holz graduated from NC State University’s College of Design with a B.A. in Landscape Architecture in May 2010. In January 2010, Ray joined Restoration Systems as an intern and assistant GIS specialist. The following year RS hired Ray full-time where he now divides his duties between: Providing RS with top notch GIS services, locating quality restoration sites and contacting landowners interested in restoring their property as mitigation, and spearheading an entrepreneurial profit center within the company controlling invasive plant species. He is currently a licensed North Carolina pesticide applicator for right of way, ornamental and turf, aquatic and forested areas. Ray is fascinated by the flora of his adopted state, but still maintains his Midwestern work ethic when hacking his way through impenetrable foliage.
